I've improved the tail although I'm sure it could be a lot better any advice let me know. The main work has been done on the cowl and front shoulder when his arms move.
Still Quite a way to go but pleased with how its going so far. Not sure I will cell shade for all (example tail). As this will all be a problem when it comes to rigging and smart bones. I do like the look though.
Hopefully more progress will be made before next weekend when I will be embarking on some new (as yet undefined) projects.
Whilst I've been working on the Vectors from my sketches I've been
listening to these Lore videos from grey hunter. I've posted the Skaven
specific one below but he's going to cover all the armies in
anticipation for the much awaited Total War : Warhammer Fantasy game.
Hopefully we can trust Creative Assembly to do it justice (or heavily patch it after release??).
Also I have been distracted from the animation (ooppps) by Neverwinter Nights 2 which I never played, enjoying so far though. Hopefully it wont interfere with my productivity.
Really considering a Skaven style warrior for my next little project. It's another tangent from the story I've written but I really want to give it a go. I initially started doing concept art for Gazelle like people which will be a minor race in my own animations and it rekindled the Skaven spark.
Thinking something a long the lines of a Clan rat or maybe Gutter Runner for starters. Not going to go for Grey Sear though maybe in the future. Warp thrower might be cool to make and a good particles test?
Any way just a thought will post some concept stuff up soon.
